Privacy policy

LetsFindWork is run by Adam (sole trader, Spain), the data controller. Contact: privacy@letsfind.work.

What we collect and why

  • Account: email, name, password hash or Google or GitHub identity. To sign you in.
  • Your CV (PDF) and the profile built from it, which you edit: to score jobs and fill application forms for you.
  • Job settings (countries, salary floor, levels to skip), saved answers, scores and your application tracker.
  • For each application you submit with the extension: the job link, company, title, the job posting text, and the questions and answers on the form. Not files and not diversity answers. So you can see later what you applied to and what you answered.
  • Whether you want the daily jobs email and at what hour, and which jobs we already emailed you. You can turn the email off on your profile page.
  • Plan status from Polar, to turn on the features of your plan.
  • "Fill failed" reports: the page link and the error message only, to fix broken forms.

Legal basis: performing our contract with you (GDPR Art 6(1)(b)). Diversity answers (gender, ethnicity, disability, health and similar) are special-category data: we only store or fill them for a field you opted into (Art 9(2)(a)), and you can withdraw that at any time on your profile page.

What the browser extension does

  • It runs only on job application pages on Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever and Workable.
  • It reads the form only when you press Fill. It never reads other sites or your browsing history.
  • For questions your profile does not answer (Pro), it sends the question text and its options to LetsFindWork and Anthropic to draft an answer from your profile.
  • After you submit, it saves the job link, company, title, the job posting text and the answers on the form to your tracker. It never saves files (only their names) or diversity answers. Before you submit, these answers stay in your browser.
  • It never clicks Submit, never solves human checks, and never sends anything before you accept the notice in the extension.

Who processes your data

  • Anthropic PBC (USA): Claude API: reads your CV to build your profile, scores jobs against your profile, drafts answers you asked for. Standard Data Processing Addendum with EU Standard Contractual Clauses. API inputs are not used for training and are deleted within 30 days; batch scoring results are kept up to 29 days.
  • Neon Inc. (database in AWS eu-central-1, Frankfurt): Stores your account, profile, CV, scores, saved answers and tracker, including the answers you submitted.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (server code run near Frankfurt): Hosts the website and runs the server code that handles your requests, near Frankfurt. Also runs DNS for letsfind.work and forwards mail sent to our privacy address.
  • Resend Inc. (USA): Sends your daily jobs email. Receives your email address and the list of jobs in it. Its account data and email logs are stored in the USA.
  • Polar Software Inc. (merchant of record): Handles checkout, invoices and VAT for paid plans. Receives your name, email and billing details. We never see your card.
  • Google (only if you sign in with Google): Confirms your identity and shares your name and email with us.
  • GitHub Inc. (only if you sign in with GitHub): Confirms your identity and shares your name and email with us.

Anthropic processes data in the USA under the Standard Contractual Clauses. Resend handles the daily email in the USA, and Google or GitHub do the same if you sign in with them. Your account, profile, CV, scores and tracker are stored in the EU.

Automated scoring

Job scores and drafted answers help you decide; they never decide for you. You choose what to apply to and you review every answer before you submit.

How long we keep it

Until you delete your account. "Delete my account" in Settings removes your profile, CV, scores, saved answers and tracker, including the answers saved with each application, at once. Copies at Anthropic are deleted within 30 days; database backups roll off on our provider's schedule. Polar keeps invoices as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can see and correct your data on your profile page, delete it in Settings, and ask for a copy, restriction or objection by email. You can complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD, aepd.es) or your local authority.

Chrome Web Store: Limited Use

The use of information received through the LetsFindWork extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use it only to fill your job applications and run your tracker. We do not sell it, do not use it for advertising or credit decisions, and do not let people read it unless you ask us to (for example a fill-failed report), it is needed for security, or the law requires it.
